It will never to get bored with Korean cuisine. Korean style barbecue is so well-known nowadays. Korean barbecue restaurants are opened everywhere in Singapore, and of course it can be found at almost every corner in Korea. You will never feel how great to having a barbecue meal in Korea until you did, especially is during winter season. Kang Ho Dong BBQ is one of the famous BBQ restaurant in Seoul, specialised with their thick juicy texture of meat and baked eggs. I am not a beef consumer, pork is my only favourite choice for barbecue.
Almost BBQ restaurant will serve thinner slices of meat but it will never happen in Kang Ho Dong BBQ. I have to say the thin slice of pork meat will be overcooked easily and lost juicy. But as photo shown the Kang Ho Dong pork meat, they were popular in their so called thick juicy texture of pork meat, and the signature baked eggs which they will assist to pour into a small container in the barbecue pan. That will be free of charge for first portion, and charge approximate 2 dollars per time in every next refill.
Its exhaust suction pipes that drops from the ceiling, signature Korean style chili sauce and the vegetable slices that we use it to wrap the foods. I like barbecue kimchi, as almost every Korean does. They will usually fry kimchi on the pan, and wrap it together with the meat and chili sauce. For me, the fried kimchi will taste better than normal kimchi, especially for barbecue meal.
I had researched through internet and knew a signature bento in Kang Ho Dong barbecue. Which it looks nothing special, as white rice serve with few Korean style side dishes, fried egg and seaweed slices, even without any sauce in it.
People will look twice at you if you are opening the bento cover and prepare to eat it as the way that eating Singaporean style "mixed rice". The correct way is to closed up the bento box and shape it heavily for approximate 40 seconds to consume. It was out of my expectation, it was not lacking of flavour, its taste about the same as bibimbap but without any sauce or meat in it, I think the salty black bean and fried egg make this bento rice palatable.
