Scrumptious Aglio Olio

Aglio Olio is one of my favourite Italian pasta dishes. Aglio Olio means "Garlic and Oil" in Italian, and one of the simplest pasta dishes to make. This is one dish which I don't mind drenched in oil. Authentic Aglio Olio only has a few key ingredients, just garlic, olive oil and pasta, so this is something you can whip up with minimum ingredients. For the light and fresh testing Aglio Olio, I find that I can easily finish my plate and still left hungry for just a bit more.

By the way with this cravings, I had discovered few restaurants which serve nice Aglio Olio in Singapore. Among all and there is one which deeply impressed me by their enrichment of garlic slices in their Aglio Olio, the Peperoni Pizzeria.

Peperoni Pizzeria is comfortable, unpretentious and welcoming, best known for their signature giant size of pizza (21 inch diameter). I ordered the smallest size when I were there, about size 8 inch of diameter, pizza as the crust is super thin and crispy with good variety of toppings. All the ordered dishes to be served in a speedy serving time, it is about 5 minutes. Overall the highest rating given with combination of everything place and staffs are warm enough, food quality has always been consistent.  

Wave House Sentosa, a beachside Californian style restaurant. Order up a jug of coke, fish and chips, Aglio Olio and fried chicken tulips. Not a rowdy crowd, not too noisy. They have a bar, beachside and indoor dining area.

Their Aglio Olio is not same as aforementioned enrichment of garlic slices from Peperoni Pizzeria, but in a pool of fresh al dente shrimps (about 7pcs with size dia 4cm) , which pink in color, bouncy in texture and slightly firm with a slight hint of a crunch. That is what I like the most.

With next coming visit to Sentosa, I would blog more about Sentosa delicacy. 

Hong Kong Bound

Literally memorable that I made it to Hong Kong on last month, January 2016, a first trip in this year. 

That was so good when traveling there. I would say Hong Kong is always great, with beautiful scenery, tasty foods and good weather. 

Traveling with Singapore Airlines is always best and needed. The world ranking no.2 of World Best Airlines in year 2015. Also known as Safest Airline in the world.

That wasn't a trip mainly for delicacies, but a relaxable journey instead. It was time to temporarily away from Singapore, such a hustle and bustle city. And also everyone should knows the weather in Hong Kong in between December to February, especially February. And I was going there in January, weather is about 16° and no raining. 

I had an awesome hotel in Hong Kong, a fabulous staying with Harbour Grand Hotel. Hong Kong land is like two coasts with sea separates capital (Central area) and Victoria Harbour. Aforementioned hotel is located at the capital side, nearby Fortress Hill station. As I got the second VIP room and it was with a sea view at higher storey-39. 

Few places that I went to, the unforgettable one is site for TVB drama (Gong Xin Ji) shooting, Lai Chi garden which nearby Mei Foo station. As a supporter of TVB drama for years and I went to their site like finally. I love Cantonese speaking, I love TVB drama and so I love Hong Kong.

Usually Hong Kong is meant as island of gourmet foods. But as it wasn't the main reason when I selecting Hong Kong as destination of first trip of the year, therefore I never tried much signature well-known foods like barbecue (chicken rice, cha siew etc), chee cheong fun, dim sum and so on. What I had is bought "yu dan" (curry fish balls) from road side stall, wantan noodle from road side stall and Tsui Wah restaurant, "boh loh bao" (pineapple bun) from Tsui Wah restaurant, eggtarts from normal bakery shop instead of famous one, and the signature Hong Kong milk tea. I like Hong Kong milk tea, I did take 2 cups of milk tea in every single meal.

How to keep hair gentle smooth #Hair care solutions

A new trend of short hair has raised my attention on it. Among all of my blogger friends, they done hair cut from long hair to short hair and it's just for a new year 2016. I had think of it repeatedly, I keep a long hair for years, it never been short. And now, the hair stylist literally did not disappointed me, he got me a good hair style for this fabulous new year. 

Sizzling hot all year round in Singapore. In fact, women's hair is much difficult to be maintain as smooth without any damaged. With a good hair would brighten your days indeed. The way to tend and protect your hair isn't just based on a bottle of hair treatment cream. It is necessary to choose a suitable shampoo, hair treatment cream, "leave on" type hair conditional and a good hair dryer. And based on my own experiences, I was realized that almost every brand of shampoo/conditioner/treatment cream is good to use during first few times but became "no result" after that. In fact that 3 crucial matters caused it. 

1. Individual hair type.

2. Never formed a habit of blow drying the hair after shower. 

3. Do not use only 1 brand of hair shampoo and conditioner. Use two different brands of shampoo and conditioner to makes hair remain strong in nutrition adsorbability.  

Append below are the products for my own daily use. Used to get hair care products from any online store, especially refuse to use any been advertised in TV advertising film. Would prefer refer to real results from other users when I buying something from online store instead of those been advertised exaggeratedly in advertising film. 

The KAFEN brand shampoo and treatment cream. So far the best brand of hair care product I ever used. Purchased it from Malaysia online store, costed MYR180 and come as set (shampoo, treatment cream and conditioner oil). Aside to the mentioned conditional oil, it was been omitted from this post owing to I don't use it. Own preference, I always prefer to use conditional cream instead of oily product. This shampoo is exclusive for permed and colored hair. Commonly I would perm my hair and do hair color touch up always. When finished from washing hair after this shampoo (red color bottle), hair will be unsmooth owing to it is discharging the harmful chemical from hair. Therefore, to apply the relevant treatment cream (yellow color bottle) on hair is a must do. Concept of 2 in 1 to complete the hair wash. 

The KERASYS brand, oriental premium shampoo and conditioner. I have forgotten its price, should be around SGD60 for 2 bottles (shampoo plus conditioner), will be available to get from any Watson store. Different with KAFEN, this shampoo is mainly for normal hair type instead of specified perm/colored hair. 

This SBARK hair protein cream was recommended by my hair stylist. An economical yet efficient hair care product ever, costed MYR80. The mentioned "conditioner cream" above is to let readers to understand but it's actually considered as protein as hair needed. 

It comes as creamed type, a fingertip of it is enough for my short hair. As use twice a day, it is sufficient to use for more than 6 months long. Apply it on towel dried hair and hair will not be oily after used. Last but not least, blow drying your hair is a must do. 

Choose a good hair dryer, first important feature is the hair dryer comes with "cold and hot air". 

As hot air will dry a lot faster but make sure to keep moving the air dryer so it doesn't fry your hair. And hot air for blow drying does more damage to hair and removes moisture, we should blow drying hair with cold air if we aren't rushing time. The way I use when rushing time, is to use hot air to dry it more (about 40%) at the first, then turn to cold air after that. Blow drying your hair after applied hair care product will helps to increase its efficiencies. Leave your hair dry naturally after applied the hair cafe product is considered as never applied. I hope this post would be helpful for you to make your hairs become prettier and healthier, consistently do these to turn your damaged hair becomes gentle smooth.  

Relationship - Others shared

Boy, you started talking to a girl online. At first you thought nothing more. Then just friends.
You started talking day and night constantly. She made you smile.
You decide to meet each other. You instantly fell for her. Kept telling yourself, she's the one.
You carried on talking, met again and again. You became best friends.

The Fragrance #My perfume collections

There are many brands of perfume out there that mention to gives nice fragrance but in fact its fragrance is only lasts for a short time. I was given chance to share few brands of good perfume, things that I used to use. Spent on something not good is actually wasted though it cost you with a cheaper price. Perfume that I always look for is based on: 

1. Brand
2. Eau De Parfum (If possible)
3. Lasting hours
4. Suitable fragrance

Different single perfume to use in different occasion is a simple etiquette that woman should knows. There is three bottles of perfume followed me, to work (Versace Bright Crystal Absolu), leisure (Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne) and banquet (Chanel COCO Noir).

When choosing a perfume, first thing to consider is whether EDT or EDP. Therefore for two bottles of mine, they are EDP (Eau De Perfume), aside to Jo Malone is considered as cologne. EDP fragrance used to lasts longer. And there may has choices between EDT and EDP for same thing, just like the Chanel COCO Noir, either get the EDT or EDP but with different prices.

Chanel COCO Noir, embodies a black mystery that is intimate, made in France. Anyone should able to get it from Robinson, Parkson or Chanel sales counter which is certainly for perfume. Try not to get from some where else like other online seller or perfume shop. Price is SGD252.00 (100ml EDP). It lasts longest among all the perfume I used. Not only lasts a day, but fragrance will be remains on clothe for a long time or even months (after washed it). Have to take note that not all Chanel perfume are same, is only this COCO Noir. I don't know how long will the Chanel Number 9 lasts for, I didn't try it since it doesn't obtain my attention in the first place. And I would say COCO Noir is the first choice of Chanel perfume for women.

Versace Bright Crystal Absolu, the jewel fragrance, made in Italy. Anyone should able to get it from SASA, Sephora and Versace exclusive outlet. An affordable price for anyone unlike the Chanel COCO Noir, the price is SGD155.00 (90ml). It will not lasts as longer as COCO Noir does but still at least about 10 hours, fragrance will be remains on clothe about 1 to 2 days only (after washed). Literally is a simple yet suitable perfume to use during working day.

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne, the delicate sweetness of dewy bluebells suffused with lily of the valley and eglantine, and a luscious twist of persimmon, made in England. You will only able to get it from Jo Malone outlet. I don't really know the price in Singapore dollars owing to I got it at Hong Kong Airport DFS, cost HKD1160.00 and it's about SGD218.00 if converted currencies. It lasts shorter time among all of my perfume, about 8 hours. I would just use it during weekend, like when just going out for a movie, a meal etc. And it will NOT be remains on clothe after washed.

Last, share some fragrance tips to my readers. Do not only spray directly on clothe, but spray on your hairbrush and it will makes your hair smell wonderful. Some people will even spray a few squirts directly into shampoo or conditioner for an added fragrance smell. I hope you could get your own favourite perfume or found a suitable one after read my post.

The Connoisseur Concerto

Dessert is to a meal what a dress is to a woman.

This is for dessert lovers. Use an attractive picture as post cover, that attracts your click and view. I spent idle Sunday during last week. We get used to see a vast crowd at along the Orchard Road on every Sunday. I will try not to step into that place during weekend to avoid those clamour, loud harsh nearby Lucky Plaza building.

Last Sunday, I been at Changi Airport Terminal 3 with my fiancé, discovered it's a peaceful place to spend at. The serenity, seeing everybody was carrying suitcase for check in flight, it's with a delightful mood for vacation. Had a simply lunch and my fiancé brought me to this café. Isn't really a café, they have foods menu also. But mainly in coffee tea and cake dessert.

The Connoisseur Concerto, Changi Airport Terminal 3, arrival hall level. Short form: TCC.

That is after my lunch, we just think to get a place for a coffee and relax.

This café is just beside Terminal 3 arrival hall, even beside the luggage collection area. Is a good place to stay for a short while before boarding, after landed or waiting for someone to landed. Fiancé and I were saying that we will come for this again during our next trip before boarding, no matter day or night owing to they serve breakfast lunch and dinner.

The Oreo Con Panna, it's an art. Dark indulgence meets dark obsession when freshly brewed espresso unites with cream and oreo cookie crumble. I am oreo lover, is better if they serve it with macchiato instead of brewed espresso and espresso used to be with smaller cup.  

The Cocoa No.9, seriously I don't know why was it called number nine. Gaze at this dreamy chocolate mousse dome and give in to temptation as you plunge into the zesty passion fruit and lush mango filling hidden within. Too much chocolate mousse brings sweet and unctuous but passion fruit and mango bring slight sour to make taste it perfect.

Trust

With got this picture from somewhere and it's emotional stirring. Many thoughts are flooding in my mind. 

She has the key to save him and change their situation. Regardless of how they got in this predicament, she still holds the key. Now she could give him the key and "set him free" but she doesn't trust him. She thinks if he could get away by any means he would and leave her to die. But he wants to save her regardless of their situation. He will stretch himself far and thin in order to save her to have her to hold her. However he is powerless to change anything under his circumstance but he tried so much and unfortunately it will never be enough. Not enough to make her trust him and not enough to reach her. He would break his own chains if he could but he simply can't. And even though she is the one dying, she has to most power. She could save them both but she would die before she trust him. And he will eventually die without the key. 

Why do people trust only family instead of their beloved one. People thought there's no conflict in between family but this thoughts will never be "applied" on their spouse. Many- money, privacy, secrets. I'm definitely not the one with this mindset. Family love you inevitably, that's an inevitability in the basis of consanguinity but whereby beloved one will not do you any harm without a basis of consanguinity. This point deserves special emphasis. 

Things Money Can't Buy

Blogging has been cease for about two months owing to timeless. Every time like was going to do but nothing to well express. A lot- sadness, happiness, anger, disappointment, sharing so on. By the way, that is a scorching sun outside, sitting down to pen an expression to blog is quiet idle. Initially was thinking to blog about my experience that staying with Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala Lumpur but I have no idea how to blog it in an interesting style.

I read a post from Facebook, that is regards to "50 Things Money Can't Buy". Touching indeed.

1. 25-hour day

Is not only 25 hours, but I want even more. Current situation is that I am going to leave home at 8am in the morning, reach home at 8pm in the night. 1 more hour taken for dinner and bath. Last 1 hour to spend with beloved one and which is not enough. I don't want day flies that fast, everything seem likes just happened in a wink.

2. A new beginning

Stories are just there. Nobody is given a new beginning to start. That's just bull shit. Start a new beginning, how could it be? Something which is not right that done is done, how could it be erase? Anyway, we only live once, but if we do it right, once is enough.

3. Trust

Life is capricious, good people are wounded, blamed, and literally ruined by the something been untrusted. When you fail to completely trust someone, you don't open up to them, don't even talk about and hurt. Alright, trust is earned, not deserved. When you meet someone, it's okay if you don't trust them right away. It takes time to get to that level. Just because one person hurt you doesn't mean others will, so don't treat them as if they have. When you move on to the next person, start with a clean slate and relate to them as if you'd never been hurt before. And yes I am, whom trusted the next though been hurt by the first previously. Believe that someone will makes you know the true love does exist yet that's the reason.

4. A good hair day

Sadness case. What a bad hair ever, no any hair treatment is done after hair dye since July. I wish to cut my hair short till above shoulder, with dye a brown color instead. But at the first, my concern is about keep fit, I've gained about 10kg within 6 months, that's a record which no anyone breaks.

To be Mrs Lee

Marrying young is not the end of my freedom. It means I want to travel and see the world, but with him by my side. It means I still like drinking in cafe and shopping in mall but stumbling home with him at 11pm and eating instant noodle at kitchen. It means I know that I want to kiss those lips every morning, and every night before bed. If you see marriage as the end of your freedom, you're doing it wrong.

I did sincerely appreciated that time brought him to my side as previous said. It's though not at the earlier right timing but at least, not the last, it's still not too late. Every single moment that I was spending with him is valuable indeed. I still believe there is no true love does existed but, I believe that all the delightful moments I had with him are absolutely freaking real. 

People are the fuck to commended that marrying at aged 20 something is too young and it shouldn't be. I was delighted to hear this owing to themselves might not be able to marrying young. What to caused? Perhaps is the unstable relationship or financial issue. Thus, I'm the luckiest lady among others. I do not have to apologize for saying this fuxking truth. Was expressing sincerely. 

#Clear & Clean

Business is based on 'give and take'. Trade is based on 'give and take'. Relationships are based on 'love'. And love is giving. You don’t expect a 'take' in love. This 'give and take' is violence. Because if there is a 'give and take', then you always ‘take’ more than 'give', as it happens in a business.


In love, you don’t bother about taking. When there is a need to take, you just take. Have you ever observed that when you are with your friends? If you have really been friends with someone, then you don’t bother about asking, you just take. If there is something kept on his table and you want to take it, you don’t seek his permission. You just take. And if you seek his permission, then it is some kind of a business arrangement. Then it is not love. 


Relationships are not based on 'give and take'. The real relationship is one which is based on 'relating' and not on 'give and take'. And the basis of 'relating' is attention. The basis of ‘relating’ is presence and love. When own true love does existed, I believe there's no 'right' and 'wrong' in between of each other.
