Based on my family Chinese traditional that a newborn baby shall shave their hair which including eyebrow hair to welcome the very first fabulous full-month. But with a month old baby, I personally insist not to bring him out for anything except medical appointment. Therefore, to engage with a home-visit style hair cut service is definitely a very good decision for this.
Based on this traditional, their hair shall be shaved before the day of actual full-month. I liaised with Taimaobi for this, Taimaobi provides a home-visit hair cut service for baby, customised Baby Hair Brush, and customised Baby Umbilical Cord Stamp. So far I had just done with baby hair cut service without require any related product.
The procedure is to book for appointment through their official website, they will contact you through email to confirm details of appointment. And one day before the date of appointment, the assigned Taimaobi person will rings you for final confirmation, and tell about some preparation. For instance, I had personally prepared green onion and 2 red eggs as requested. With refer to first photo, that red plate and some red packets will be provided by Taimaobi person.
I was truly satisfied with their excellent service. When the assigned person arrived, my baby was crying for feed. The lady (assigned person) had been waited for baby feeding very patiently. Meanwhile she was chatting with us about some baby care knowledge, and explained about the simple steps for hair cut.
However, she did a good job for my baby hair cut, she shaved it very well. With the proper holding position that she taught, my baby did not cry or feel uncomfortable during the entire shaving process. She was also keep saying the greeting words to baby during the entire shaving process, which I believe elderly would love it.
The total fees for only hair cut service (which does not include hair brush and umbilical cord stamp) is $50 nett. We paid this by cash at the end of service. She passed us the baby hair with the red packet, which we can keep it for hair brush product if required in future. And for the umbilical cord stamp, she mentioned that we can also decide to do it within 6 months if we kept the cord. Also, this $50 for hair cut service will be refunded if we paid for hair brush product or umbilical cord stamp within 6 months. Of course I can say that $50 is not called "being refund", but can be "being deduct" from the cost of hair brush product or umbilical cord stamp.
