JALAN TUA KONG LAU LIM MEE POK - BEDOK ROAD

No one can ever resists from having a delicious Bak Chor Mee, a typical local noodle which Singaporean can have it during breakfast, lunch or dinner. Although Bak Chor Mee is being selling everywhere in Singapore, but to go back to the authentic one will be a great deal for yourself. Look at how charming is this Jalan Tua Kong Lau Lim Bak Chor Mee which located at Bedok Road.

Location ★★★☆☆

Location ★★★☆☆
With a bus stop nearby which is at Bedok Market Complex, easier for those who is doesn't drive. If you're driving, quite difficult to get a parking lot, we usually park at East Village for free and walk there.

Atmosphere ★★★☆☆
It is a common hawker centre with no aircon, but a few wall mounted fans installed are enough to cooling down the temperature.

Food ★★★★☆
The signature dry mee pok (some called it bak Chor mee) has 3 sizes of option, $4.5 $5.5 and $6.5.
We used to order the $5.5 and also some said the $4.5 actually has no difference with the $5.5 one, just the $5.5 comes with additional 2pcs prawn.
And unless you can handle spice very well, otherwise you should ask them not to make it spicy for you. Their mee pok spicy level is quite high. Mee pok noodle is well showered by the sauces, marinated minced pork and fried lard. But we find the dumpling soup is just so-so, not worth to order.

Service ★★★★☆
Very convenient way, just order and pay at their stall, they will serve it to your table. Don't need to tell about the table number, they will find you.

Price ★★★★☆
Acceptable hawker price for the noodle, soup, and even beverages from this hawker centre.
