WANG DAE BAK - KOREAN BBQ

Wang Dae Bak is so well known and high-reviewed Korean BBQ restaurant in Singapore central area. The one I went is 98 Amoy Street branch. Grade as:

Location ★★☆☆☆
Atmosphere ★★☆☆☆
Food ★★★☆☆
Service ★★★☆☆
Price ★★☆☆☆

Location ★★☆☆☆
Amoy street is at central area which also nearby CBD. Wang Dae Bak dinner opening hours from 5:30pm, which about the same as office knock off time and everywhere was crowded and traffic jam. It is located at shop row, with limited space of parking area. If you're self-driving, must be prepared to take some times in looking for parking lot. Also not a near walking distance from the nearest MRT station. Take a cab will be much ideal.

Atmosphere ★★☆☆☆
Internal atmosphere was noisy, when I was dining there. Speaker with playing Kpop song was very loud, high volume of sound. We can't really hear to each other.

Food ★★★☆☆
The complementary small plates of side dish weren't that delicious compared to any other.
Pork belly was hard and a bit dry to chew and swallow, we didn't overcooked it, the texture of meat was like that. The spicy fried rice cake with cheese and the kimchi pancake were very delicious. Especially that kimchi pancake was the best Korean pancake I ever ate, compared to all Korean restaurant I went before.
View their full menu here.

Service ★★★☆☆
No response received in a week after I clicked and made appointment via their official website, until I called and book again.
Indoor service was not bad, at least they were being polite when taking order, putting on the BBQ charcoal, serving up the foods. But they're not attentive which they didn't fill up the water bottle when it's run out.

Price ★★☆☆☆
Our bill is about SDG105.00 for total:
3 bowls of rice
2 sets of pork belly
1 set of mushroom
1 spicy rice cake with cheese
1 kimchi pancake
1 bottle of water (should be complementary, they served it automatically)
